On Magical Thinking

Aliens Are Demons and Apocalyptic Platonism IMG_2424 As the Law of Civilization and Decay sets in and wages dislocate from inflation, Man is susceptible to magical thinking, the very same mindset seen during the end of the Jewish System in Jerusalem. As perceptively pointed out by Lemurian IMG_2425

Ever since October 7th the populist media market has become increasingly hypnotized by this magical brainworm. Perhaps the Ketamine and sheesh fueled break from reality was the primer. It is my contention that the Roganverse/podcast circuit is facilitating this collective break from reality by design.

** Aliens Are Demons and actually the Promethean Good Guys IMG_2426 Spielberg is releasing Disclosure Day, a film about how aliens are demons that are simply misunderstood while also mixing faith and sci-fi an unholy gnostic communion. The timing is noteworthy considering we are in a sort of Antisemitic conspiracist zeitgeist causing magical thinking to rise to an all time high.

** Gnostic Imagery Within Interstellar

Cooper: We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun. And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above US. Cooper: Okay. Now you need to tell me what your plan is to save the world. Dr. Brand: We're not meant to save the world. We're meant to leave it. Cooper: [looks up, sees space ships] Rangers. Dr. Brand: The last components of our one versatile ship in orbit, the Endurance. Our final expedition. Cooper: You sent people out there looking for a new home? Dr. Brand: The Lazarus missions. Cooper: That sounds cheerful. Dr. Brand: Lazarus came back from the dead. Cooper: Sure, but he had to die in the first place. There's not a planet in our solar system that can sustain life and the nearest star is over a thousand years away, I mean, that doesn't even qualify as futile. Where'd you send them?

Here is Interstellars dialogue expressing gnostic and Cosmist sentiment.

Romilly: Of all these anomalies, the most significant is this: out near Saturn, a disturbance of space-time. Cooper: It's a wormhole? Romilly: Appeared 48 years ago. Cooper: And, it leads where? Dr. Brand: Another galaxy. Cooper: Brand: A wormhole's not a naturally occurring phenomenon... Someone placed it there. Cooper: "They." Brand: it. And whoever they are, they appear to be looking out for us. That wormhole, lets us travel to other stars. Came along right as we needed Doyle: Cooper: Doyle: They've put potentially habitable worlds right within our reach. Twelve, in fact, from our initial probes. You send probes into that? Mm-hm. Dr. Brand: Cooper: Dr. Brand: Doyle: We sent people into it. Ten years ago. The Lazarus missions. Twelve possible worlds, twelve Ranger launches, carrying the bravest humans ever to live. Led by the remarkable Dr. Mann. Each person's landing pod had enough life support for two years, but they could use hibernation to stretch that, making observations on organics over a decade or more. Their mission was to assess their world, and if it showed potential, then they could send out a signal, bed down for the long nap, wait to be rescued.

Cooper the NASA rough rider is pushing the frontier of Manifest Destiny not just to colonize space but beyond. I’d say entering the heavens. Which is the Cosmist goal of Scientific Management, of which Musk is a proponent with his Space X venture.

Casey Affleck is playing the Jeffersonian ideal—tilling whats left of the Malthusian utopia, while his father is reaching for the stars to keep Malthusianism going. Earth is a prison planet that the worshippers of scientism are trying to desperately fix, the light beings playing the sympathetic Prometheus.

** Noosphere and the Gray Church

IMG_2430

French Jesuit Gnostic Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Vladimir Vernadsky both believed in a Darwinian progress that would elevate human fraternity into the Noosphere.

The two previous popes were big fans of Chardin:

The Mass is itself a way of giving thanks: “Eucharistía”. To celebrate Mass in this land brought to my mind the prayer that the Jesuit Father Pierre Teilhard de Chardin offered to God exactly a hundred years ago, in the desert of Ordos, not far from here. He prayed: “My God, I prostrate myself before your presence in the universe that has now become living flame: beneath the lineaments of all that I shall encounter this day, all that happens to me, all that I achieve, it is you I desire, you I await”. Father Teilhard de Chardin was engaged in geological research. He fervently desired to celebrate Holy Mass, but lacked bread and wine. So he composed his “Mass on the World”, expressing his oblation in these words: “Receive, O Lord, this all-embracing host, which your whole creation, moved by your magnetism, offers you at the dawn of this new day”. A similar prayer had already taken shape in him when he served as a stretcher-bearer on the front lines during the First World War. This priest, often misunderstood, had intuited that “the Eucharist is always in some way celebrated on the altar of the world” and is “the living centre of the universe, the overflowing core of love and of inexhaustible life” (Laudato Sì, 236), even in times like our own, marked by conflicts and wars. Let us pray this day, then, in the words of Father Teilhard de Chardin: “Radiant Word, blazing Power, you who mould the manifold so as to breathe life into it, I pray you, lay on us those your hands – powerful, considerate, omnipresent”. - Francis

Francis also christened the ecumenical declaration of Human Fraternity and the syncretic Abrahamic Family House. IMG_2432
